Our Playground

South Wales is an ideal area for the outdoor enthusiast:

Great climbing of all standards exists on the limestone sea cliffs of the Gower and Pembrokeshire while the more adventurous will enjoy Ogmore. Many smaller crags exist inland and these provide ideal training grounds including a variety of sport climbing.

World class caving exists in the area with the UK's largest (Ogof Draenaen) and deepest (Ogof Ffynnon Ddu) systems as well as many smaller systems.

There are a range of sites for canoeing/kayaking. Beginners can learn in safety on canals and lakes before progressing onto gentle touring rivers. More advanced paddlers will enjoy some of the area's classic white water runs like the Usk and Wye. There are also some harder rivers such as the Mellte.

Fine walking exists in the Brecon Beacons National Park as well as further afield in the Elan and Plynlimon ranges. We pride ourselves on finding routes away from the crowds, if you want to enjoy wild and lonely mountains why not email us.

South Wales is also gaining a reputation as a Mecca for mountain bikers with purpose built courses at Afan Argoed and Cwm Carn as well as miles of byways through forests and over mountains.

For some of our group clients we range further, we often operate in Snowdonia.
